Rock Run

Guitar Lessons 2 Comments

Hey -- Here’s a quick “Rock Run” for you -- !

When we’re teaching guitar lessons in Northampton @ Arcadia House we quite often get asked for example of stuff we actually use. Well here you go -- ! This is one of my super secret “standby” runs that gets used in various guises. You want to ramp it up to 120 bpm in simple time and really let it hang out at the end -- !

Here’s your link for a printable PDF of the TAB: http://hardcoreguitar.com/output/rockrun/HCG_Rock_Run.pdf

    Heads up – !

Martin Dyhouse has just pointed out that I play “Rock Run” in A but I tabbed it out in G – Duh – !

So if you want to use the riff in A just slide the whole lot up 2 frets.

Sorry about that, you’d think after twenty two years of teaching this stuff I’d know what I was on about…right? WRONG!

Anyway – Check out Martins acoustic version, it’s kinda slick!
